BTE's hardened input shaft is constructed from heat treated steel. Manufactured in-house by BTE, this shaft is not only strengthened for up to 650 horsepower applications, but it also features a high efficiency cooling circuit to transfer fluid from the torque converter to the transmission cooler. This shaft is also universal, working in both 1.76 and 1.82 configurations.
