Father’s Day Weekend Racing Events

Take Dad out or bring the whole family to the racetrack this weekend to celebrate Father’s Day. The NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals were rescheduled for October, but don’t worry, there are still plenty of drag racing events to enjoy. Get in some family time and win some sweet, sweet cash. 

Indy Summer Nationals- Indianapolis, Indiana
Get a head start on Father’s Day weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway for this 3-day event. The Indy Summer Nationals begin June 18 and run through June 20. General admission is $25 for a single day and $50 for three days. Racing prices vary and details can be found on the website linked above. 

The Champion Engagement- Morocco, Indiana
This Saturday, June 20 is the Champion Engagement at US41 Dragstrip. Make sure to check their Facebook event page for updates. Don’t forget to bring your face masks. 

1st Annual Jr. Dragster Race- Rogersville, Tennessee
Whether you’re introducing your kids to drag racing for the first time or just want an excuse to spend more time with them, head to the Cherokee Raceway for a Jr. Dragster Race Saturday, June 20. Racers ages 6 to 17 will be allowed to race with entry prices ranging from $40 to $100. Gates open at 9 a.m. Follow their Facebook page for up-to-date information.

This Cash Days Street Race- Calhoun, Georgia
This Cash Days Street Race event lives up to its name with prize money totaling $10K up for grabs at Paradise Dragstrip on June 20. Gates open at 10 a.m. with the races starting at 2 p.m. It’ll cost $250 to buy-in, $20 for spectators, and $20 for the grudge race after the main event. For more details on tickets visit their page
