We’ve made it to Georgia on our drag strip series. Aside from peaches you can find lots of racing tracks all over the state, including these top-rated drag strips.
South Georgia Motorsports Park- Adel, GA
Aside from the oval track, South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP) also has a ¼ mile drag strip sanctioned by NHRA. The track is 230 feet above sea level and has plenty of space for both spectators and racers. They’re open with plenty of events for you to enjoy.
Savannah River Dragway- Sylvania, GA
Part of the Screven Motorsports Complex is the Savannah River Dragway. First opened in 2004, the IHRA member track is a ⅛ mile on laser-leveled concrete. The drag strip has events lined up that are perfect for the whole family.
Atlanta Dragway- Commerce, GA
First built in 1975 on what used to be an airport, this ¼ mile drag strip has undergone a lot of updates over the years. The track, which is at 1,002 feet elevation, is also owned by NHRA. Visit their website for updates on racing events.
Middle Georgia Motorsports Park- Jeffersonville,GA
Check out this ⅛ mile drag strip that’s packed with events for all types of racers. Whether you have a truck, car, or dragster you’re sure to find something that revs your engines. Although they do have a website, event updates can be found on their Facebook page.
