Car of the Week: Lucas Walker's 1993 White Ford Mustang

Welcome to the BTE Racing Car of the Week series, where we feature our customers and fans, and the cars (and trucks) they love to race. Today, we're featuring Lucas Walker's white 1993 Ford Mustang.

How did you get into drag racing?
Several of my family members race and it started with me going with them. In 1995 I was very fortunate that my aunt and uncle bought me a junior dragster.

When and where was your first race?
Northwest Tennessee Motorsports Park in Gleason, TN in 1995

What model/year do you race now?
I race two different 1993 Ford Mustangs.

Does your car have a nickname?
We call the white Mustang Ghost

What's under the hood?
Both cars are Small Block Ford-powered

Which BTE products do you use in your vehicle?

Why do you use BTE?
I use BTE because I feel the products offered are the best you can buy, and with the very tough competition
in bracket racing, a consistent car is necessary. BTE is my choice for transmissions and converters.

Someone you look up to in racing?
I could list a 1000 names, but I don't have anyone in particular.

If money were no object, what would you drive?
I would just take what I have now and try to perfect them.

What is your pre-race ritual (if you have one)?
I'm superstitious. I just do the same routine every race, every round.
