Car of the Week: Donna Greer's 2002 Chevrolet Camaro

Welcome to the BTE Racing Car of the Week series, where we feature our customers and fans, and the cars (and trucks) they love to race. Today, it’s all about Donna Greer from Many, Louisiana and her 2002 Chevrolet Camaro.

How did you get into drag racing?

My daddy has always been into racing so I was raised around it and have always enjoyed it.

When and where was your first race?

I street raced a lot, but my first race on a track would be in Evadale, Texas at Evadale Raceway.

What model/year do you race now?

2002 Chevrolet Camaro

Does your car have a nickname?

Fast Orange

What's under the hood?

347 LS built by Greermotorsports with CNC heads machined by Total Engine Airflow and a Stinger Plate from Nitrous Outlet

Which BTE products do you use in your vehicle?

BTE powerglide with SFI-approved case and a BTE 10” race converter

Why do you use BTE?

Hands down the best product for the money along with excellent customer service.

Someone you look up to in racing?

I look up to my daddy in everything that he does, but racing we do together and that makes it extra special to be able to share the love of going fast.

If money were no object, what would you drive?

1967 Chevelle built for the X275 class

What is your pre-race ritual (if you have one)?

I don’t particularly have a ritual. Just double checking the car over to make sure all is ok so when I head down the track all I need to worry about is going fast!
