Welcome to the BTE Racing Car of the Week series, where we feature our loyal customers and drag racing fans, and the cars (and trucks) they love to race. Today we're featuring Cody Graham from Forrest City, Arkansas, who owns and races a 2000 S10.

How did you get interested in drag racing?
My uncle raced. 

 

When and where was your first drag race?
1998 Jackson Dragway.  

 

What model/year do you race now? Any special features?
2000 S10, 1969 Camaro and a 2009 M&M dragster.

Does your car have a nickname?
LongDime

What's under the hood?
383 sbc 177 blower/434sbc/632bbc 

Which BTE Racing products do you use in your vehicle?
All three have BTE transmissions and converters.

Why do you use BTE? How has BTE helped you improve your racing?
Best products out there! I know I can rely on the products as I’m putting them through the ringer while I’m doubling the same car and still having consistent ETs!

Consistent win lights! 

Who is a drag racer you look up to?
There’s a few but definitely Cliff Hubbard and Buddy Ferrell.

If money were no object, what would your dream car be?
Probably an ex pro stock car.

What is your proudest drag racing moment?
Winning with my family by my side.

Why do you race?
Because I’d go crazy NOT racing! 

What is your biggest challenge as a driver?
Getting in the way of a good race car!
