How did you get interested in drag racing?
My dad raced

When and where was your first drag race?
Sand Mountain Dragway in 1999

What model/year do you race now? Any special features?
1979 tube chassis Camaro that I built with my dad.

What's under the hood?
383 stroker

Which BTE Racing products do you use in your vehicle?
5000 BTE converter

Why do you use BTE? How has BTE helped you improve your racing?
My converter has made my car consistent from start to finish. I run in the footbrake class and you can't beat a BTE converter off the starting line

My dad

If money were no object, what would your dream car be?
1967 Chevelle   

What is your proudest drag racing moment?
When I won the 2nd race I ever ran in my dad's tube chassis 1979 Chevette at Paradise Drag Strip

Why do you race?
It takes all the worries of the world away when I'm strapped into my car. It's my happy place.

What is your biggest challenge as a driver?
Teaching my children consistency
