Car of the Week: Calvin Reynolds' 2006 TNT Dragster

Welcome to the BTE Racing Car of the Week series, where we feature our customers and drag racing fans, and the cars (and trucks) they love to race. Today we're featuring Calvin Reynolds from Lancaster, KY who owns and races a 2006 TNT Dragster.

How did you get into drag racing?
I started in Jr. Dragsters when I was 11 years old.

Where was your first drag race?
Mountain Parkway Motorplex in Clay City, KY in the late 90s.

What model/year do you race now?
2006 TNT Dragster

Does your car have a nickname?
No

What's under the hood?
565 cubic inch by Huntsville Engine

Which BTE Racing products do you use in your vehicle?
BTE powerglide and BTE converter

Why do you use BTE?
I have had EXCELLENT customer service with BTE, and my car is very consistent with the BTE converter.

Do you have any stories about how BTE helped you improve your racing?
The consistency and performance I get from BTE is amazing.

A drag racer you look up to?
My parents, they don't race but they have always been there for support.

If money were no object, what would you drive?
If money were no object, I would have a late 90s body style Cutlass to run Top Sportsman or 4.70 class and a TNT dragster to bracket race.

What is your pre-race ritual (if you have one)?
I don't really have a ritual, but I try to keep the same routine as far as maintenance and race preparation.
