Car of the Week: Martin Hagstorm Chevy Nova '69

Welcome to the BTE Racing Car of the Week series, where we feature our customers and drag racing fans, and the cars (and trucks) they love to race. Today we're featuring Martin Hagstrom from Sweden, who owns and races a Chevy Nova ‘69.
How did you get into drag racing?
My brother took me to a streetrace. 

When and where was your first drag race?
1998 in Malmoe with a Beetle. 

What model/year do you race now?
Chevy Nova ‘69

Does your car have a nickname?
Turbo Nova. 

What's under the hood?
Lq9 gen IV, gapped rings stock bottom, stock heads with springs and trunion upgrade. Holley Hi Ram intake. EcuMaster EmuBlack Ecu managing fuel, ignition, boost and logging.  
Single 80mm Precision turbo. 

Which BTE Racing products do you use in your vehicle?
Torque Converter

Why do you use BTE?
We wanted a bolt torque converter that was reliable and BTE have a reseller in Sweden so the choice of converter was easy. 

Do you have any stories about how BTE helped you improve your racing?
Not yet. We have just finished our first season with the car. 

A drag racer you look up to?
Jonnie Lindberg of course. 

If money were no object, what would you drive?
The same car with more horsepower and a motorhome for the racecar with tools.

What is your pre-race ritual (if you have one)?
Checking my steering wheel, so it’s really clicked in place.
