STEP 1: Inspect servo bore and remove any burrs or sharp edges. Show special attention to the comer at the intersection of the feed hole and any scratches in the bore diameter.

STEP 2: Coat the servo bore and o-rings with transmission lubricant.

STEP 3: Cover the feed hole with approximately a .005 inch feeler gauge while installing the servo piston into the bore. Withdraw the feeler gauge and install the servo cover using the new gasket furnished. This step must be followed to prevent tearing of the o-rings.
