Since 1990, Memphis Performance has been a growing national and international mail order provider of high performance automotive parts. The newer BTE division launched in 1998, providing high performance transmissions, torque converters, and other drive line components.

BTE / Memphis Performance’s 40,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility located within the Memphis metropolitan area houses the latest manufacturing CNC equipment and logistics technology to aide in efficiency and quality. The central geographic location of our distribution center ensures quick delivery of services and goods.

As much as BTE / Memphis Performance is a fresh and growing company, it is also based on years of experience. Founded by Jane and Paul Barrentine and Bill Taylor as a “second wind” entrepreneurship after a ten year non-compete agreement, BTE / Memphis Performance’s staff is comprised of seasoned professionals who also share this vision for a new way of doing business.
